Introduction

The team at Duraplas believe that clear, honest and precise communication is vitally important and will result in total client satisfaction. Meticulous tank delivery procedures have been developed, revised and implemented to make sure that YOU the customer receive service unmatched in the tank industry. Our unique systems and approach to our clients enables us to provide (at the time of ordering) a committed delivery date.

Our highly trained professional delivery personnel conduct all deliveries using our own specially designed, late model vehicles. The last 38+ years of trading and thousands of satisfied customers has given Duraplas the feedback needed to provide YOU with outstanding service.

Delivery Area (poly tanks) (click here for a larger map)

The standard delivery area currently serviced by Duraplas stretches north to Bundaberg (QLD, Australia), south to Wollongong and west to Moree (NSW, Australia). Many other areas can be serviced by request (additional freight will apply). Please contact our friendly staff for further information regarding the delivery of your Duraplas product.

Tank deliveries are available to many areas, and approximately 30 minutes on-site is allowed to enable Duraplas to maintain affordable freight fees. The customer is required to assist by arranging the specified number of adult, able bodied persons available at time of delivery of your tank(s).

Onsite assistants and unloading requirements

To keep deliveries safe and compliant with workplace health and safety (WHS) requirements, your assistance may be required on the day of delivery to help manoeuvre the product from the unloading point to its final position (for example, onto a prepared tank pad).

Please note: access beyond the kerb/front boundary is at the property owner’s discretion and must be safe and practical. On arrival, our driver will assess site access and will only proceed where it is safe to do so. If access is restricted or unsafe, unloading will occur at the nearest safe point.

Rainwater tank deliveries (assistants required)

Slimline and Urban Tower tanks
450–1,650 litre – 1 person + driver
2,000–4,000 litre – 2 people + driver
5,000 litre – 3 people + driver

Round/cylindrical water tanks (approx.)
360–10,000 litre – 1 person + driver
13,500 litre – 2 people + driver
18,200–22,700 litre upright – 3 people + driver
22,700 litre squat to 34,000 litre – 4 people + driver
Note: The R22,700SQ and R34,000 require both the truck and a low trailer for transport.

Underground and underdeck tanks
1,000–2,000 litre – 2 people + driver
3,000–5,000 litre – lifting equipment required.
These tanks will be delivered to a location determined by the driver, subject to safe truck access. The customer must arrange suitable lifting equipment and personnel to place the tank(s) into final position. Truck-mounted Hiabs are not adequate for this task.

Other poly products

Aquaculture tanks (except those noted below), cattle troughs, garden beds, Planta Pods – 1 person + driver
AP 5,000 litre aquaculture tank – lifting equipment required onsite
AP 10,000 litre aquaculture tank – lifting equipment required onsite

SmartBund tanks and Truck Tanks water cartage tanks
Lifting equipment is required for unloading. This must be arranged separately by the customer at their own cost. Truck-mounted Hiabs are not always suitable.

Septic tanks
Lifting equipment is required for unloading. This must be arranged separately by the customer at their own cost. Truck-mounted Hiabs are not always suitable.

Plunge pools (Aussie Plunge Pools)

Plunge pools are delivered kerbside (front boundary / nearest safe roadside point). Customers must arrange suitable equipment and personnel to move the pool into final position on-site.

If you have any specific delivery constraints (steep driveways, soft ground, tight access, etc.), please contact us prior to delivery so we can discuss options.

Our tank freight fees are heavily subsidised and the required assistance is very important to ensure affordable tank delivery.

Freight Conditions

As each site is different, we will at the time of organising the delivery, try to highlight any difficulties that may hinder the delivery process. Our obligation at Duraplas is to deliver the poly tank to your property and cannot guarantee (due to difficult access, power lines or steep terrain etc) that the tank will be placed directly onto the tank site. Once arriving on site, the delivery driver will assess what is possible and safe for all involved. If assistance cannot be provided then the hire or use of any equipment needed is at the purchasers’ expense and will need to be arranged once the driver has left the site.
